A Commitment to Trade Organizations

The management of Broshear Contractors feels that every business person has an obligation to support the trade organization that best represents them. We also feel that industry groups provide a unique opportunity for people to show an appreciation for, and give back to, an industry which has provided a livelihood for their families and co- workers. Broshear Contractors is an avid supporter of the Ohio Contractors Association. Jerry Broshear, Dennis Benson and Justin Broshear have been very involved in the Ohio Contractors Association on a state and local level . Jerry has been chairman of the Convention, Education, Environmental, Equal Employment Opportunity, Member Services and Safety, Committees and a member of various others. Jerry was elected Treasurer in 1999 and accepted the office of Executive Committee member in 2000. He is currently serving as Vice President and will assume the position of President in 2001. Denny Benson is involved in the Southwest Chapter of The Ohio Contractors Association as a member of the executive committee and a master recruiter. Justin Brosher is on the Southwest / Dayton Chapter Safety Committee. Broshear Contractors also supports the Ohio Valley Development Council, which is affiliated with the Cincinnati Home Builders Association. As part of the O.V.D.C. Jerry has been elected to three consecutive three year terms to the Board of Directors. He has been chairman of the Newsletter and Public Utilities Committees and has served on numerous other committees and task forces. Denny Benson is also a member of the Ohio Valley Development Council where he has served on the Butler County Water and Sewer specifications committee.
