History

Broshear Contractors was founded by Clarence Broshear and his brother Robert in 1955. In 1971 Clarence assumed complete ownership of the company and Gerald Broshear (Jerry) was welcomed into the company as an estimator. Jerry was promoted to Vice President in 1973 and became President and sole owner in 1989. In 1978, Dennis Benson joined the company as an estimator and became Director of Operations in 1989, the position that he currently holds. Today’s management team consists of Gerald Broshear, President, Dennis Benson, Director of Operations, Jeff Meyer, Chief Estimator, Justin Broshear, Safety Director, Ronald Broshear, Field Superintendent and Bill Kerby, Equipment Manager. Currently Broshear Contractors specializes in complete residential site development, roadway construction, public utilities projects, and wetlands construction. Broshear Contractors has evolved into one of Southwest Ohio’s most prominent and respected site development contractors. The Company has 45 years of extensive construction experience and has maintained an uncompromising commitment to quality and service.
